Nature area the Vroon

The Vroon in Westkapelle is a watery nature area where many birds can be found. During spring dozens of black headed gulls, common terns and avocets brood on the bare islands. Plovers and sand pipers are present during all seasons. The little pools and fringes of reed provide nice surprises. Various types of geese, ducks and grebe-alikes brood in this area.
