On the first floor of the lighthouse Het Hoge Licht in Westkapelle, you can visit the exhibition “Het licht verbeeld”.
The exhibition is open from 28 March to 31 October 2026.
Bram Dingemanse
Bram started painting at a young age. Through self‑study and painting lessons, he mastered the art of painting. His work mainly focuses on maritime subjects such as ships, seascapes, and lighthouses. Most of his pieces are oil paintings on canvas or panel.
Mieneke Lievense
Mieneke has also been painting for over 30 years with the Westkapelle Drawing and Painting Club. She originally began with watercolour techniques. Nowadays, she often works with acrylic paint, oil paint, pastel chalk, and pastel pencils.
She paints things that move her—whether in people, animals, or objects. For her, it’s not only the final result that matters; the act of painting itself brings joy and fulfilment.
Jeanine van Marion
At the Westkapelle Drawing and Painting Club, she experimented with various techniques. In recent years, she has focused on watercolour painting. As a proud native of Zeeland, she is fascinated by Zeeland’s coastal life; she especially enjoys painting the sea and the characteristic wooden breakwaters.
