Corona protocol lighthouse 't Hoge Licht

We have drawn up a protocol so that we and the visitors can comply with the guidelines of the government.

Visit the lighthouse

  • The lighthouse can accommodate a maximum of 15 visitors at a time, who simultaneously visit the lighthouse as a one-way traffic, provided that the 1.5 meter distance is maintained. You can reserve a time block to visit the lighthouse.
    • Tuesday and Thursday:
      • 6:00 pm - 6:40 pm
      • 6:40 pm - 7:20 pm
      • 7:20 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Wednesday and Saturday:
      • 11.00 am - 11.40 am (July and August)
      • 11.40 am - 12.20 pm (July and August)
      • 12.20 pm - 1.00 pm (July and August)
      • 1.00 pm - 1.45 pm
      • 1.45 pm - 1.30 pm
      • 3.15 pm - 4.00 pm
  • You can reserve by telephone or e-mail for a time block. This is possible up to 4 hours before the start of a time block. You can also buy a ticket at the counter to visit the lighthouse, within one of the time blocks if space is still available there.
  • We ask you to be present a maximum of 10 minutes in advance to avoid queues.
  • One-way traffic applies in the stairwell. The tower keeper indicates when you can go up and down. Keep 1.5 meters distance in the stairwell.
  • Visitors from 13 years old are requested to wear a mouth cap when climbing and descending.
  • Group tours are unfortunately not yet possible.


  • In the store, you must keep 1.5 meters distance between vistors and staff.
  • The tower keeper ensures that there are not too many visitors in the store at the same time. You may be asked to wait a while.
  • Only touch items that you intend to buy.

Hygiene measures

We adhere to the following hygiene measures:

  • You can only pay with your debit card.
  • We ask you to disinfect your hands at the entrance and exit of the lighthouse. Disinfectant hand gel is also present in other places.
  • The counter and cash register are shielded with plexiglas screens.
  • The ATM, door handles, railings and balustrades are regularly disinfected.
  • We can deny you access if you have corona-disease symptoms such as colds, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, coughing or shortness of breath.
  • We ask you to follow the instructions of the staff.
