From March 27 to September 23, 2024, the exhibition 'Moods of the Sea' by Arienne Molenaar can be seen in the museum café of the Polderhuis in Westkapelle.

Paintings of landscapes and seascapes

Arienne Molenaar lives in Zoutelande and has been painting for many years. She followed several courses in drawing and painting at the part-time courses of the art academies in Arendonk and Antwerp. Painting landscapes continues to fascinate her the most, especially seascapes. The sea, along which she walks every day, continues to hold a great attraction for her. The sea and the wide skies remain an inexhaustible source of inspiration. So many colors and shapes, different every day or every hour! Call it the 'moods of the sea'.
